Polyimide (PI) purification

The polyimide (PI), as a material frequently used for Liquid Crystal alignment, is formulated by the mixture of PI polymer and mixed solvent in a specific ratio. Due to the direct contact with the liquid crystal, it has an exceptionally high purity requirement.

 

During the production process of PI, approximately 30 to 50% of it will be contaminated with ions, moisture and particles. Although traditional purification technologies such as column purification and recrystallization can eliminate some contaminants, they will also change the formulation or even deteriorate the PI and render it non-reusable. 

 

Our Premium purification technologies are distinct from others in the industry in that we have found the solution to keep the general formula of the PI during the purification process, allowing the PI to have the exact same characteristic as the original solution.

Our premium liquid crystal purification technology applies to TN type, VA type, IPS type, and PSA type liquid crystals. In addition to having the ability to purify the PI in TN and VA categories in bulk PI used by the panel manufacturers, our technology also achieved outstanding outcomes in the purification of PI alignment agents in IPS and optical categories, which require a  considerably more challenging process and advanced technology. 

 

Meanwhile, we established a series of quality control policies to ensure the purified PI is indistinguishable from the original. We also work to increase the efficiency of restoring contaminated PI for reuse in new production.  

 

Our PI purification technology, which fulfils high-quality standards while significantly reducing production costs through reusing, has been verified by the application of Taiwanese panel manufacturers.

Premium liquid crystal purification

As a mixture of varied single crystal material blended in a specific ratio, Liquid crystal requires absolute purity to operate stably and efficiently in a liquid crystal display.


During the filling process of liquid crystal, approximately 2 to 5% of it will be contaminated with ions, moisture and particles. Although traditional purification technologies such as column purification and recrystallization can remove some contaminants, they will also change the formulation of the liquid crystal and make it non-reuseable. 


Unlike others, our premium liquid crystal purification technology can remove the contaminants instantaneously without changing the Liquid crystal formulation. It restores the purity of the liquid crystal to the original or even higher level and significantly reduces the production cost through reusing simultaneously.


Our premium liquid crystal purification technology applies to TN type, VA type, IPS type, and PSA type liquid crystals. It reaches high-quality manufacturing standards by the verification and application of Taiwan panel manufacturers.

Defective panels' liquid crystal extraction and purification

When single crystal materials are blended, they need to be added at specific ratios to produce a mixture of absolute purity which is required for the compound to operate stably and efficiently in a liquid crystal display.
 

In response to the growing demand and the size requirement of the display panel, manufacturers continuously expand their production capacity and stretch the panels’ size to meet the needs of the market.

China is currently the largest producer of LCD panels. Despite its manufacturers having a process yield of over  95%, a considerable number of defective panels are still produced perennially. In addition, when the products unavoidably reach the end of their service life, they substantially increase the total number of obsolete liquid crystal displays. Our company’s mission is to take care of these defective panels and obsolete LCDs through recycling.

With our advanced technology, the liquid crystals from the faulty panels will be extracted and transformed to a stage fit for manufacturing, which then can be reused by the panel factories. The liquid crystals in the obsolete LCDs are extracted and separated based on their characteristics. After they have been reformulated and purified with our premium technology, the liquid crystals reach the manufacturing standard. It then becomes the raw material to be used for new high-quality liquid crystal displays products.
